Katherine Thomas

Katherine joined Schroeder Law Offices, PC in 2006 as a legal secretary new to the legal profession. She had previous experience conducting research, performing qualitative and quantitative data analysis, and co-authoring reports used for policy making decisions by a Washington state committee.

Katherine graduated Magna Cum Laude from Whitman College in 2005 with a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and as a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Society. She took part in a variety of extracurricular activities at Whitman, including intramural debate, student-led choir, and intramural soccer. After graduating from Whitman, Katherine spent a year living and working in Edinburgh, Scotland and traveling around Western Europe.

At Schroeder Law Offices Katherine is responsible for reviewing and distributing incoming and outgoing documents, maintaining the digital filing system, editing correspondence and pleadings, filing and e-filing pleadings, and providing general support to the attorneys and paralegals.

Katherine currently volunteers with the Oregon Food Bank, SOLV and St. Andrew's Legal Clinic.
