Tara J. Jackson

Although new to the legal profession, Tara Jackson comes to Schroeder Law Offices, PC with extensive research, writing, and analytical skills gleaned from several research positions with the Oregon Health and Sciences University and the Oregon Department of Human Services.

She earned her Bachelors of Arts Degree in Politics from Willamette University in 2005. While at Willamette Tara excelled academically, graduating Magna Cum Laude and earning membership in the Phi Beta Kappa Society.  She was also a member of Willamette’s Varsity Softball team where she was honored as an Academic All-American

Tara joined Schroeder Law Offices in 2005, where she quickly and proficiently assumed the position of Legal Secretary. Using this position to refine her research, analytical, and writing skills to encompass legal support duties, Tara has since graduated to the paralegal position. Her specialization is title and ownership research in support of conveyance work. However, Tara continues to develop expertise in estate planning work and the preparation of water right documents. Her daily responsibilities include case management, drafting and editing various pleadings and correspondence, and legal research.

Tara currently volunteers with the Oregon Food Bank, in the Learning Garden. She also serves as an English as a second language tutor, working mainly with Spanish speaking minorities.
