Briana Witt
Briana originally came to work for Schroeder Law Offices as a part-time intern in the winter of 2010. That spring, upon the completion of her undergraduate education at Portland State University, Briana joined the staff of Schroeder Law Offices as a full-time paralegal. The writing, reading, research and proofing skills Briana acquired as an English major are a daily part of her work.
Briana began her undergraduate education at the University of Oregon where she studied English and Music Performance. She continued both fields of study at Portland State University in addition to a personal and collegiate focus on sustainable farming. During the 2007/2008 school year Briana volunteered as an Educational Intern at Learning Gardens Laboratory in SE Portland where she worked with a team of college professors, students, and graduates to provide hands-on garden education to middle school students in the Portland Public School System. She spent the following years interning and volunteering for local farmers in both Bend and Portland.
Briana is currently preparing for graduate school where she plans to continue her education in sustainable agriculture, policy, and law. She also regularly attends events and meetings in Oregon to keep current on food and farm issues.
